So welcome to our new website. Pretty straight forward, right? If you're new to COWS or to role playing in general, be sure to take a quick look at our FAQ and About pages to get a better feel for what goes down around here.

For you old-timers, our new website offers what will (hopefully) be some useful features that were not available to us on our mailing list:

• One-click login / authentication with Facebook
• Add new characters to sign up for our games
• Create new events, and add as many games to them as you like. An event could represent a one-shot evening, or a full day conference full of different tables
• A forum for sounding off and general RP discussion
• Links to related gaming resources, as well as documentation for judges
• Map of our events, plotted with Google Maps

In the future, we're also hoping to add a few more things:

• More updated information and functionality related to local conventions and larger organized events
• A full system for rewarding COWS Credit to judges who step up to run games. Gamers can then use these points to "purchase" gift certificates at participating gaming stores
• Tighter Facebook integration and other social media initiatives
• Full description of COWS member benefits, including member signup
• And a few other things. Yeah.

We hope this site proves useful not only for mustering games, but also getting to know each other better. If you have any suggestions of questions, feel free to ask! This is obviously a work in progress that we do in our spare time. We're looking forward to rolling with you soon!
